The Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education Consolidated Public Library is a service jointly provided by 19 libraries belong to Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education.

The affiliated public libraries of Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education provide various contents such as books, periodicals, and all sorts of electronic materials to improve the intellectual standard of local residents and foster advanced civic consciousness, and they always strive to delivery essential information and to be space for cultural experiences by operating the reading culture programs frequently.

After joining the membership, anyone who is a citizen of Chungcheongnamdo can freely use electronic materials such as e-books, audio books, and online classes.

Students can use the integrated e-library service through the authentication of the Reading Education Comprehensive Support System.
For books not in your school library, you can apply for a book delivery service from the consolidated library.

You can use various services such as reading e-book, renewal, and wish-book request through the mobile library service.

The school library with insufficient materials can use the book package service of the consolidated library.
It is a service that sending it by delivery service if a school requests wish-book package.

The opening hours varies depending on libraries, so please check it on the homepage of each library

Closure days

Closure days info
Regular Closure Days	on Mondays (However, Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education Culture Center for Students Education is closed on Sundays)
Other Closure Days	Legal holidays except Sundays. However, library may be closed when Sunday is legal holiday. The day designated by the director of the library for other special reasons

Check Out and Return

Consolidated members (regular members) can check out and return materials from 19 Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education Public Libraries

Number of Items : within 20 total lending, Each library can be freely lended
Checking out Period : 14 days except the day of lending
Renewal: 1 time and 7 days before the day of return
Mutual Lending: Available lend up to 3 books a time only for books and 6 times a year for free, and the number of books on mutual lending is included in the total number of books of lending.

※ When user using mutual lending, the library sending the book will pay for the delivery cost.

Notes

Online materials are also available on mobile (smartphone and tablet).
However, using online materials may incur data charge depending on the content and usage status.

Membership Registration

When you join a membership at the library, you need to verify yourself and sign up on the library’s website in advance or you must bring your authentication method (one of mobile phone in your own name or public I-PIN) to join smoothly.

Associate Membership

Members who apply for membership through self-authentication on the consolidated homepage of the Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education or the homepage of affiliated library
Associate members can use the homepage such as writing on the bulletin board and applying for classes. (Unable to check out books)
Children under the age of 14 can register as an associate member through the agreement procedure of the self-authentication and legal representative (a guardian).

Consolidated Membership (Regular members)

Associate member or regular member of the school library who verified oneself visits the library, confirms one’s identity, and completes the issuance of the membership card, then one can be consolidated member (regular member).
Consolidated members (regular members) can check out materials and use e-library from 19 Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education Public Libraries.

Member (Regular Memeber) of School Library

Member who has joined the Reading Education Comprehensive Support System in school library and applied through the certification of the Reading Education Comprehensive Support System on library homepage.
You can be a consolidated member (regular member) after verifying oneself and identity and completing the issuance of membership card.
Members of the school library (the Reading Education Comprehensive Support System) can borrow materials and e-library from 19 public libraries of Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education while attending schools under the jurisdiction of Chungcheongnamdo Office of Education.

Identity verification requires you to present one of the following documents in person and to get confirmation.
However, representatives can apply for the disabled, the elderly over 65, maternity, and children under 14 years of age.
